 ====== Treasure Tiers ======
 **"Tier"** refers to how the item is defined internally in Jets of Time. The [[treasure_tiers|tiers]] define the relative desirability of the item and also control which treasure chests it can be found in and where it can be dropped. Starting equipment doesn't appear as treasure and has no tier. The six tiers are low, passable, mid, good, high, and awesome. Some equipment is acquired exclusively through checks and its tier is listed as “key.”
